CFA Institute Scholarships 

CFA Ireland receive 10 society scholarships each year from CFA Institute. This year (2010) these scholarships have been allocated to students participating in the Global Investment Research Challenge.

However, candidates or prospective candidates can apply for scholarships under the Society Scholarship Sharing Program. These are scholarships which have not been fully utilised by other societies worldwide. Societies such as CFA Ireland who may have extra demand can apply for these on a case by case basis. CFA Institute are the awarding body. There is no guarantee that all applicants will be successful - it depends on the level of demand.

  
What is the Award? This scholarship will waive the Program Enrollment fee and all but $225 of the Exam Registration fee. The exam registration fee includes the CFA Program curriculum materials.
Note: Winners will be responsible for the $225 fee; If you have already registered and enrolled for the upcoming exam, CFA Institute will refund each winner all but $225 of their exam fees within 4-6 weeks.

How do I apply? Contact CFA Ireland info@cfaireland.ie for an application form. Complete the form and return to CFA Ireland by email by Monday 19th January for the June 2010 exams. CFA Ireland will endorse and forward on to CFA Institute.

Please note that only those who pay the enrolment and registration fee themselves should apply i.e. if your employer pays these fees, you should not apply.
